Basavatarakam Indo american cancer hospital is located at Banjarahills, Road No 10. It is a nonprofit trust hospital with affordable charges. Mainly, poor people with cancer are treated for free.
There were around 100 people who were fighting the battle with different kinds of cancers. There were kids too, who are just 10 years old. Along with the patients, there were their families taking care of them. But none of them were able to afford for their daily food. They eat food, only when someone would come forward and feed them.
They might be suffering inside, but they looked like champions for the rest of their lives. We were fateful enough to have a chance to feed them for an evening.
CHT team has arranged dinner for around 300 people including the patients and their families.
“Anyone with cancer is not dying with it, they are living with it”.
