SIRIA was started on 13 June 2006 with five children. It has, at present 100 above children ranging in age from 3 to 13 years. All of them have either been abandoned or orphaned. Some who were abandoned by their mothers do not even know where or when they were born. It is maintained by Archana. You can contact orphanage at 9963114266, if you want to donate.

This was our 3rd event and as Holi festival was around, we had a small plan to play Holi and have some interactive activities with children. The kids were so excited, that we could see the colors of Holi on their faces. All the kids and elders together had lots of fun.They reminded us that whatever life might bring us to, you can chose to live your life happily without regrets or just get drowned.

We had delicious lunch with them, which they didn’t start without finishing their prayer. There was also another most important thing that no child left a grain of rice in their plates. This was overwhelmingly inspiring and a great lesson not to waste our food.

We have arranged a gas connection with two gas cylinders, for which they were struggling a lot buying them for extra money. Also donated some stationary, fruits and provided lunch for the day.
